Join us for hatha yoga classes to unwind and rejuvenate yourself at the end of the day.

Hatha yoga is the basic style of yoga, characterized by its emphasis on physical postures with the regulation of breath. The asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) practice with the harmony of mind, body and soul essentially promotes holistic well-being and inner peace. Yoga beginners will get an understanding of the foundations of Hatha Yoga, including posture, breathing exercises and the health advantages of this practice.

The classes will be based on topics of:

-Introduction of Hatha Yoga
-Flexibility and Balance for body-mind soul union
-Dynamic yoga with Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) practice
-Core Strength and Twists for spine strengthening
-Breathing practice and Yoga mudra for strengthening inner health
-Inversions and its health benefits
-Hip joint and hamstring flexibility with backbends
-Yoga for good gut health

About the facilitator:

Nusrat is a passionate yoga practitioner for a decade, who believes yoga is beyond a physical practice and rather a holistic way of life to develop a deep sense of interconnectedness within the body-mind-soul.
She had completed her 200-hours yoga teachers training in 2021, and later started teaching yoga.
